Job ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care within the unit during their shift. Collaborating with the management team, the CNC oversees nursing practices in alignment with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates patient admissions and discharges to optimize care delivery.
- Engages in ongoing evaluations of patient care quality in partnership with management.
- Fosters teamwork among staff and collaborates with experts to enhance service delivery.
- Champions a patient-centered approach and addresses service recovery when needed.
- Implements nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and operational efficiency.
- Contributes to the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Manages staff scheduling and labor resources in accordance with patient needs.
- Assists in maintaining inventory and managing supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 60 days of hire.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
