Security Gate Sales Representative

Job Summary:
Tymetal Corp., a subsidiary of The Fort Miller Group, Inc., is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide exceptional customer service on our Inside Sales team. Our team members have a wide range of responsibilities, all focused on serving our loyal customer base. If you seek opportunity and diverse responsibilities, this position may be a great fit for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers and/or our Outside Sales Representatives to develop quotations for gate products and systems.
- Respond to technical product inquiries and follow up on sales leads with the goal of closing every sale.
- Work closely with engineering to assemble and distribute custom submittal packages for pending orders.
- Enter sales orders in a timely manner to ensure we meet the production lead times and delivery promise dates.
- Perform project management for larger projects, monitoring the sale from the time of order entry to the product installation at the job site.
- Work closely with outside sales, engineering, manufacturing, and shipping to ensure the smooth flow of information and effectively communicate with the customer throughout the process.
- Work internally to resolve any and all customer service issues, including quality and delivery issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- AAS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read project plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational and detail skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, specifically MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP and contact management software is preferred.
- No travel is required.
