About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented litigation attorney with experience in securities and commodities issues in the broker-dealer and futures commission merchant space. The ideal candidate will be interested in joining the firm's General Counsel office in the US. The successful candidate will represent the firm in arbitration and other adversarial proceedings, coordinate with outside counsel on court actions involving the firm, and represent firm employees in third-party proceedings. Additionally, the candidate will advise firm employees on pre-litigation matters, draft agreements, disclosures, account documentation, and website materials, and investigate and provide detailed analysis and legal advice in connection with anti-fraud efforts and cybersecurity matters.

Requirements
At least 7 years of post-J.D. experience as a litigator at a law firm, financial services regulatory agency, exchange, broker-dealer, or FCM. The ideal candidate will have 'on-your-feet' experience in court or arbitration proceedings, familiarity with securities and broker-dealer issues, and a background in cybersecurity issues. The candidate must be a member in good standing of the bar of any U.S. state or the District of Columbia, have a solid academic background, and be comfortable and fluent with computers and technology. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are also required.
