Project Manager - Pharmacy/PBM Standards Conversion Projects

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the conversion from F5 to F6 Standards within NCPDP (National Council for Prescription Drug Programs).

This is a contract to hire position, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pharmacy, PBM, or related Pharma Insurance, with a proven track record of achieving project goals.

The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Engineering, Product Development, Finance, Operations, and will be highly knowledgeable in product and project lifecycles and methodologies.

Key Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of direct project management experience handling large to complex projects within health information technology or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy benefits management, disease management, healthcare, or managed care environment.
  • Proven experience in helping the business develop and write requirements.
  • Highly knowledgeable in product and project lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Continuous quality improvement and change management.
  • Thorough understanding of IT systems, applications, databases, architecture, and software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to read and understand financial data such as product income statements, ROI analysis, net-present value analysis.
  • General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile project management methodologies preferred.
