Overview

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer - Electrical to join our team in St. Paul, MN. As a key member of our Building Service Line, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from start to finish, making a significant and positive impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm, CCTV, keyless entry, security, sound systems, and media delivery systems.
  • Develop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Perform code reviews and shop drawing and submittal reviews and processing.
  • Manage projects and interact with clients, as well as assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • 4+ years of prior electrical design experience as an engineering MEP consultant or contractor is required.
  • Professional Engineer license and/or DES is required (MN preferred).
  • Experience with architectural projects such as schools, municipal buildings, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, or related projects is required.
  • Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients, and other disciplines is preferred.
  • Prior project management experience is required.
  • This position requires authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.
