We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our dynamic team at HyperLight. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting our growing customer base and delivering exceptional technical support. With a focus on electro-optical modulator technology, photonics, and optics, you will collaborate with our engineering team to improve product design and ensure seamless customer interactions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain detailed specifications sheets for Hyperlight products, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to gather customer feedback and inform product development.

Education and Experience:
We require a bachelor's or master's degree in physics, optics, engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in customer support or technical support roles. A strong understanding of electro-optical modulator technology, photonics, optics, lasers, fiber, polarization, and more is essential. Additionally, excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to solve problems in new and/or ambiguous scenarios are crucial. Estimated salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
