Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Optics Engineer to join our team as we expand into a global commercial enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics, experimental physics, or electrical engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant research experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and maintain optical workbenches with laser sources
  • Develop and implement advanced Labview and Matlab programming skills
  • Cultivate strong data acquisition and statistics skills
  • Troubleshoot and refine optical designs using advanced knowledge of optical theory
  • Maintain high precision optical alignments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A PhD or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Experimental Physics, Optics, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and team skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude, working with enthusiasm and passion
  • Milestone/deadline-oriented mindset
