About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Analyst to join our team at Tools for Humanity. As a key member of our Financial Compliance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our global business engagements and assisting senior leaders in the development and design of compliance strategies for the Financial Compliance program.

Responsibilities will include conducting daily due diligence, performing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) analysis and risk profiling, carrying out Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on potential counterparties, conducting watchlist, sanctions, and adverse news screenings, and supporting the development and maintenance of Financial Compliance owned policies, procedures, and training modules.

You will also assist in enhancing Financial Compliance Risk Assessments, collect, synthesize, and analyze data derived from multiple sources, including publicly available databases and websites.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Financial Crime Compliance or paralegal, preferably with 5+ years of experience working in a financial institution, e-Money/payments company, law firm, or other FinTech. A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent is a plus or willingness to obtain within one year.

You should have financial crime compliance or paralegal skills, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and experience working engaging with regulators or external auditing regimes is a plus. Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred but not required.
