Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team at OneMain Financial. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for recovering delinquent accounts and minimizing losses. You will work closely with customers to find affordable repayment solutions, enabling them to resolve their financial obligations and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor delinquent accounts daily to maintain losses at or below established guidelines.
  • Properly document all account activities and initiate contact with customers to satisfy deficient balances.
  • Make recommendations to management for accounts requiring additional attention and maintain a positive team dynamic.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Customer Service experience: 1 year
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Exceptional customer service skills and outstanding phone and negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of collections or sales experience
