As a key member of our culinary team, the Sous Chef will oversee the preparation and cooking of food in our kitchen. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Assist with menu planning and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Train and develop kitchen staff to improve performance and productivity
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role
- 3+ years of experience in kitchen operations, including at least 1 year in a lead cook position and 1 year in a steward position
- ACF Certification, Culinary Arts degree, apprenticeship, and/or AOS Degree
- Food Safety Certification
