Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Shakeronline. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our recreational facilities, including the Thornton Park and swimming pool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of facility staff, including park attendants, skate rental staff, and maintenance personnel.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition and cleanliness of facilities, including the ice arena, skate park, basketball court, playground, tennis courts, and batting cage.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR/AED certification.
  • Assist with the hiring and training of new staff members.
  • Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • First aid and CPR/AED certification required.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal/part-time position, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
