Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly oversee staff members, ensuring their work output is satisfactory and their concerns are resolved through routine staff work reviews and tracking results.
  • Lead the team in the monthly close process, account reconciliations, and monthly analyst.
  • Ensure financials and subsequent schedules are accurate and timely.
  • Lead workflow efforts for assigned areas, analyzing, reassigning, and adjusting based on work needs.
  • Responsible for completing routine performance review evaluations, training, scheduling, and process documentation in collaboration with Manager.
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to review accomplishments and set goals.
  • Approve time off requests for direct reports.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient personal, medical, and financial information.
  • Act as a role model for professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
  • Identify problem areas and develop plans to ensure risks are mitigated and controls are effective.
  • Analyze, assist, and resolve problems.
  • Participate in and lead payer and departmental meetings.
  • Responsible for providing feedback, suggestions, and process improvement recommendations to Manager and above.
  • Perform and initiate special projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (Required)
  • 5+ years finance experience (Required) or 7+ years finance experience (Preferred)
  • Public Accounting experience (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience successfully interacting with upper-level management (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (Preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills (Required)
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with aptitude for accuracy (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), and general office equipment (Required)
