Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach General Chemistry I lecture and lab courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of the College's academic programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach General Chemistry I lecture and lab courses, following the College's approved syllabi and departmental guidelines.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Assess student learning, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support student success.
  • Contribute to the development of the College's academic programs, participating in curriculum design and review.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in chemistry, preferably in an online or accelerated course setting.
  • Proficiency in word processing, email, and web browsing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.
