Cecil College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Test Proctor to administer Pearson VUE tests and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well with students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Pearson VUE tests and maintain all related paperwork
- Monitor the testing room and ensure a secure and distraction-free environment
- Record keeping and clerical duties, including maintaining test sign-in and instructor logs
- Provide technical equipment assistance to students and faculty
- Administer Skills Assessments and tests for Cecil College classes
- Proctor exams for other colleges and entities
- Adhere to all college policies and procedures
- Monitor screens and cameras as assigned
- Assist students with creating appointments for testing or tutoring
- Answer the ASC phone and direct students to the appropriate person
- Manage the rental of calculators and related paperwork
- High school diploma or GED; must not be pursuing a degree, certificate, or program that uses Pearson Vue tests
- Must pass Pearson's TA test and maintain certification
- Computer experience with working knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel; willingness to learn other software or programs as necessary
