Job Overview

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coaching maintenance mechanics, troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach a team of maintenance mechanics to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, including mixers, ovens, freezers, and PLC systems, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HAACPs), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong multi-craft skills in electrical and mechanical areas, with the ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to work on the 2nd or 3rd shift, and availability for on-call duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in food manufacturing, with knowledge of GMPs and HAACPs.
  • Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
