Job Title: Registered Nurse-4S Telemetry-7A

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a Registered Nurse-4S Telemetry-7A, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse-4S Telemetry-7A is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients, utilizing a systematic approach to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel, ensuring patient safety and taking into account the educational preparation, experience, and physical and emotional ability of the person to whom the assignments are made.
  • Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others, and maintain required documentation of patient care and unit activities in accordance with standards.
  • Clarify any order or treatment regimen that the nurse has reason to believe is inaccurate, non-efficacious, or contraindicated, consulting with the appropriate licensed practitioner and notifying the ordering practitioner when necessary.
  • Institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a patient's condition and/or prevent complications.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the State of Texas.
  • BLS certification.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • No experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
