Nurse Practitioner-4T Telemetry-7A

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in the 4T Telemetry-7A unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients based on comprehensive assessments and nursing diagnoses.
- Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel while ensuring patient safety and adhering to the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others, and administer medications and treatments accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and unit activities in accordance with standards.
- Clarify any orders or treatment regimens that may be inaccurate or contraindicated, and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize patients' conditions and prevent complications.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas.
- BLS certification.
- Unit-specific competencies obtained within six months of hire.
