Work Environment
  • Operate an ASU vehicle or cart safely, frequently entering and exiting the vehicle.

  • Work outdoors for the duration of the shift, which includes standing and walking for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, rain, wind) and performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and pushing up to 35 pounds.
  • Utilize a two-way radio for communication purposes.
  • Regularly adjust to changing priorities, including resolving conflicts that may arise.
  • Occasionally work in an office environment that requires extended periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Work location may vary based on operational needs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to fulfill essential job functions.
  • May work in extreme weather conditions, including hot summers and cold winters.
Background Check Requirement

All candidates must undergo pre-employment screening, which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of this background check.

Minimum Qualifications

1-2 years of customer service experience in a frontline service role, or an equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience handling credit card transactions in a high-volume retail setting with direct customer interaction.
  • Two years of experience in a high-volume service environment.
  • Experience in a parking operation within a university, city, or airport, with knowledge of electronic and mechanical equipment maintenance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Monitor space availability and assist with event accommodations as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in daily activities and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Drive university vehicles to various locations as required.
  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Assist motorists and perform equipment repairs.
  • Complete necessary forms and documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
