About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at IKA Werke. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and inspect laboratory equipment to ensure high-quality standards
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
  • Utilize safe and proper setup and operation procedures for all tools and equipment
  • Accurately record information on manufacturing orders, time tickets, and other required forms
  • Lift and/or carry boxes containing component parts (up to 50 pounds) and climb ladders to retrieve inventory
Requirements
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in the assembly, trouble-shooting, repair, and quality inspection of electromechanical equipment
  • Familiarity with assembly equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and documentation
  • Effective communication skills to interact with management and co-workers
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of SAP
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including standing, lifting, and climbing
