We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Operations Leader to manage the production processes within our company. In this role, you will be tasked with coordinating and enhancing production activities to ensure optimal efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety regulations. You will lead a team of supervisors and staff, implement operational strategies, and work closely with various departments to meet production objectives.

The Manufacturing Operations Leader is accountable for all aspects of production operations, including materials management, inventory oversight, machining, fabrication, and assembly. You will be responsible for achieving results in terms of cost control, budget management, operational methods, production quality, and workforce management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the manufacturing team and collaborate with different functions to implement effective business processes.
  • Manage daily operations within the organization.
  • Ensure all products meet specifications and maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Establish and track performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Develop and manage budgets for all areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain production operations, including machinery, fabrication, and assembly processes.
  • Create and uphold capacity plans, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
  • Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Plan and organize work, providing direction and instruction to all manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensure all work areas are safe and free from hazards.
  • Implement and uphold all environmental, fire, and safety protocols in compliance with corporate directives and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment, maintaining discipline and morale among staff.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Operations role.
  • Experience in assembly processes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing manufacturing operations, preferably in a related industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and drive performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing large assembly operations.
