Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Valve Machine Shop Operations Manager to lead our manufacturing processes, supervise a dedicated team, and ensure the highest standards of project quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the valve machine shop, including both CNC and manual machinery.
  • Directly supervise the Shipping Manager and Fabrication Leader to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Provide technical support, resolve machine-related issues, and improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize processes and increase productivity.
  • Conduct site visits for project evaluations and technical assistance.
  • Train and mentor staff, manage inventory levels, and oversee equipment upkeep.
  • Report on shop performance metrics to the CEO and address any operational concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the valve sector.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC and manual machinery, along with troubleshooting expertise.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and a strong commitment to safety and quality assurance.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
