International Education Program Coordinator

The Institute of International Education is a leading global organization that aims to promote international understanding and educational exchange. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Program Officer, Project GO and Language Training Center Programs.
This is a full-time position based in Washington DC, with opportunities for growth and professional development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international education, program management, and cultural competence.
As a Program Officer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of programs that provide scholarships for critical language and culture study opportunities to talented ROTC students across the United States. You will work closely with a diverse team, including DOD colleagues and stakeholders at US universities, to support program goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise discretion on confidential matters. A high level of financial numeracy and accuracy is also preferred.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring program and financial compliance, progress, and outcomes. You will also provide technical assistance through support and guidance as needed. This is a high-impact position that offers many opportunities for growth and professional development.
The salary range for this position is $65,155 - $72,712, depending on relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity, and geographic region.
