Overview

The Latin American Youth Center seeks a skilled Program Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our PREIS evaluation program. This individual will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and tracking outcomes for the program across multiple DCPS, charter school, and CBO sites.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate implementation of the Many Ways of Being curricula by Equimundo and the control group, Passport to Success curriculum by International Youth Foundation.
  • Oversight of program facilitators, including facilitator training, meetings, and recruitment and supervision of interns and volunteers.
  • Meet with the manager to ensure program numbers and outcomes are being met.
  • Ensure data is entered into ETO data system and provided to Child Trends as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of youth development experience, preferably in a school-based setting.
  • Bilingual or fluent/proficient: English and Spanish required.
  • Knowledge/background in sexual health and comfort in discussing sex and reproduction.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

  • Three weeks paid vacation leave per year, increasing to four weeks with tenure.
  • Twelve days paid sick leave per year, twelve paid holidays per year, and four wellness days.
  • Eight weeks paid parental leave, including adoption and foster care.
