Role Summary:
The Software Training, Support, and Testing Specialist plays a crucial role in our nationally recognized CHAP initiative. This position is integral to the implementation and ongoing support of the Chambers calendaring system, which serves numerous bankruptcy court Chambers.
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering both in-person and remote training sessions tailored for CHAP end users and IT personnel. This includes the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of training resources, instructional materials, and operational manuals in collaboration with a technical writer.
In addition to traditional classroom instruction, the specialist will employ a variety of educational techniques, including:
- Computer-based training
- Self-paced online learning
- Web-based guided sessions
- Video tutorials
The role also encompasses providing initial customer support by addressing CHAP help desk inquiries, diagnosing issues, and identifying necessary enhancements. The specialist will document detailed software modification requests for the CHAP development team.
Upon approval of change requests by the CHAP User Group, the specialist will oversee the implementation process through the agile development framework, engage in software testing, and ensure that new features are accurately reflected in the relevant documentation.
This position may require occasional travel.
