Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist

At Accanto Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with eating disorders. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:The Behavioral Health Technician will play a vital role in supporting the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
- Support residents during structured outings and recreation
- Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment
- Monitor and document exercise
- Be available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mental health experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to drive
- Previous direct mental health experience preferred
