Empower Recovery as a Behavioral Health Technician

At The Emily Program, we strive to create a world where individuals with eating disorders can experience lasting recovery. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, and maintaining a recovery-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support to residents during mealtimes and snacks
  • Support residents during structured outings and recreation, promoting a healthy and balanced lifestyle
  • Monitor and support bathroom use per client treatment, ensuring a safe and respectful environment
  • Monitor and document exercise, promoting physical activity and well-being
  • Engage, challenge, and support residents as needed, fostering a sense of community and belonging
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Mental health experience preferred, with a valid driver's license and authorization to drive
  • Previous direct mental health experience preferred, with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with eating disorders
