Tensioner Technician I

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s). This position will ensure the machine is making a quality part while meeting the desired productivity rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment, presetting, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues and resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain quality of the parts produced, adhering to industry standards and company expectations.
- Ability to check parts to meet quality standards, utilizing small quality testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
- Ability to read and interpret part prints, ensuring accurate production.
- Ability to run one line at a time, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Zero to two years related experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Basic computer skills and experience with 5S principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues.
- Ability to run up to 4 lines, ensuring seamless production.
- Position requires excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills.
- Position requires flexibility, including occasional weekend work with 24-hour notice.
