Tensioner Technician I Job Description

The TSUBAKI name is synonymous with excellence in quality, dependability, and customer service. U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.

The Tensioner Technician I will maintain the basic daily operation of the primary tensioner machine(s). This position will ensure the machine is making a quality part while meeting the desired productivity rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tensioner machining equipment, including tooling adjustment, presetting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues and maintain quality of the parts.
  • Check parts to meet quality standards and read small quality testing equipment, such as calipers, mics, and microscopes.
  • Ability to read a part print and run one line at a time.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to two years related experience.
  • Basic computer skills and 5S experience.
  • Ability to work with a team and run up to 4 lines.
  • Position requires excellent planning and organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and significant computer skills.
  • Position requires weekends as needed with 24-hour notice.
