Job Summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic technician
  • ASE certification in diesel engines and transmissions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled environment
