Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician I is a key member of our team at Urban Development Partners, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or relevant experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work at heights, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
