About the Opportunity

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to serve as the Chief of the Neuropsychology Division. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Neuropsychology Division, ensuring its alignment with departmental and institutional goals.
  • Clinical Program Development: Develop and implement clinical programs that meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders, while ensuring operational efficiency and quality.
  • Educational Initiatives: Develop and implement educational programs for neuropsychology and neurology trainees, ensuring they receive the best possible training and education.
  • Academic Research: Foster a culture of academic research and scholarship within the division, encouraging faculty to engage in research and publication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with departmental leadership, faculty, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Doctoral Degree: A doctoral degree from an APA/CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship: Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.
  • Licensure: Licensure in Nebraska or license eligibility.
  • Leadership Experience: Significant administrative and leadership experience in a medical setting.
