About the Position

The University of Minnesota's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Adult Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Adult Neuropsychology program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth and development of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Adult Neuropsychology Division and Clinical Director to establish partnerships and build strong relationships with referring departments and units.
  • Participate in the Division's postdoctoral training program and practicum training, including case supervision and weekly didactics attendance.
  • Engage in the Department's other specialty clinics, including Rehabilitation Neuropsychology.
  • Collaborate with psychometrists and trainees to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Close all patient encounters within established time requirements.
  • Contribute to an active and growing academic department, mentoring practicum students, postdoctoral students, residents, fellows, medical students, and other allied health professionals.
Qualifications
  • PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, or a closely related field from an APA/CPA-accredited institution.
  • Completed APA/CPA-approved pre-doctoral internship.
  • Formal postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, preferably meeting APPCN guidelines.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Minnesota Board of Psychology license.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible, with the ability to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
  • Leadership skills to manage change and effective communication in a rapidly expanding department.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with individuals across multiple departments, practices, and health systems.
