Quality Assurance Manager - Overview

Position Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager with a robust emphasis on client relationship management. This pivotal role involves supervising quality assurance methodologies while also overseeing significant client accounts. The primary objective is to guarantee that our clients experience outstanding service and that our quality assurance benchmarks are consistently upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison for designated client accounts.
  • Establish and nurture strong, enduring client partnerships.
  • Comprehend client requirements and goals; ensure they are not only met but surpassed.
  • Effectively communicate with clients regarding project updates, challenges, and solutions.
  • Lead and mentor QA team members, including defining clear goals and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other key stakeholders to swiftly address quality assurance challenges.
  • Examine data to uncover trends and insights that propel quality enhancement initiatives.

Essential Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a comparable position, particularly in API testing.
  • Strong command of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks like Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven track record as a QA manager or in a relevant capacity.
  • Solid experience in account management or client-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.) and web services.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating automated tests into CI workflows.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
