Position Summary

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will take on a pivotal role in overseeing the software testing and quality assurance lifecycle. Your main focus will be to architect, develop, and implement robust testing strategies, frameworks, and automation solutions. Leveraging your extensive background and technical acumen, you will mentor junior engineers, enhance processes, and ensure the delivery of superior software products.

  • Builds and nurtures relationships with quality assurance and development peers regarding software design and development.
  • Reviews and assesses designs and project activities for adherence to quality assurance standards; provides actionable feedback to enhance product quality and reduce failure risks.
  • Offers domain-specific expertise and leadership in software quality assurance across cross-organizational projects and initiatives.
  • Champions innovation and the integration of new technologies within the quality assurance framework.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance.
  • Influences teams to enhance quality assurance technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in a technical lead or team lead capacity.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
  • Extensive familiarity with various software quality assurance tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in evaluating software testing forms and processes, including the development and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions.
  • Familiarity with designing and integrating software across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals to senior management.
