Rosie's Place is a leading women's shelter and community center that provides a safe and nurturing environment for poor and homeless women. Our mission is to empower women to maintain their dignity, seek opportunities, and find security in their lives.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our Communications team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to add value to a mission-driven organization by directly supporting our public outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the mission, programs, and fundraising efforts of Rosie's Place.
- Create compelling and cohesive marketing materials that expand our audience and increase awareness of our work.
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns for International Women's Day, Giving Tuesday, and program-specific appeals.
- Oversee assets and manage media partnerships for our annual Funny Women... Serious Business luncheon and Safe & Sound gala.
- Ensure consistency of brand in all of Rosie's Place's promotional materials.
- Liaison with host of organizational partners to ensure brand consistency.
- Create, maintain, and order all of Rosie's Place's collateral materials used in both internal and external work.
- Manage all e-commerce, including the creation, promotion, and sale of holiday cards and note cards.
- Secure in-kind donations from local media outlets.
- Secure earned media placements for Rosie's Place.
- Manage all paid advertising for Rosie's Place.
- Write for print and digital pieces, both long- and short-form.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our marketing efforts.
- Oversee and provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development to the Communications Associate.
- Manage the production of print and digital promotional materials for direct-service programs.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Communications.

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in marketing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and busy department.
We are a hands-on team and seek employees who are passionate about our work and service to our community. The Marketing Manager is a full-time, exempt position, and the incumbent is expected to work on-site at Rosie's Place during their work week.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience. Rosie's Place offers a robust benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, pension contributions, paid vacation, and more.
