Beaver Creek Sports Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Beaver Creek Sports. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading staff, handling daily sales, rentals, and operational functions to achieve maximum profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Store Manager in leading staff and maintaining operational expectations
  • Generate sales by establishing professional relationships with customers and delivering exceptional guest service
  • Maintain and model high retail, merchandising, and cleanliness standards
  • Assist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling daily operational budgets
  • Recruit and maintain a quality core staff
  • Onboard and train new employees in POS, product knowledge, guest service, and sales
  • Communicate company values and goals to employees
  • Lead inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling and Loss Prevention policies
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1 year of retail experience, with snow sports retail experience preferred
  • 1 year of management experience
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
