Job Summary:

Burton Beaver Creek, located in the heart of the BC village, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team. As a key member of the store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in leading a team of sales associates, managing daily sales, rentals, operational, and merchandising functions of the store to achieve maximum profitability, efficiency, and a best-in-class guest experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage daily sales, rentals, operational, and merchandising functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in maintaining and coordinating operational expectations by following company policies and guidelines.
  • Model high retail, merchandising, and cleanliness standards as set forth by the Store and Regional Manager.
  • Assist the Store Manager in recruiting and maintaining a quality core staff.
  • Lead inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals.
  • Enforce company cash handling and other Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1 year of retail experience required, snow sports retail experience preferred
  • 1 year of management experience
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; stores are open 7 days a week and hours vary depending upon location, season, and type of store
