Job Title: Business Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Business Account Executive to join our team at Alnylam. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness within your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, patients, and other stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective market development and brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities and develop targeted account plans.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, in-services, and other educational programs to promote our products and services.
  • Monitor and report on territory-level market dynamics and trends, including prescriber opinion and competitive activity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Science degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive and successful business experience in biotech or the specialty pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in Cardiology and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory environment in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Specialty product launch experience and ability to drive, lead, and deliver upon territory-level cross-functional business planning.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 60% of the time.
