About This Role:

We're seeking a top-performing sales professional to join our team at Forrester. As an Account Executive II, you'll be responsible for expanding our existing account base of technology providers. You'll develop a territory strategy that balances proactive and reactive lead generation, resulting in numerous weekly meetings and a consultative sales cycle. Success requires a transparent and repeatable sales process with experience in entering and growing business in new markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and close new-business prospects from a list based on a specific geography.
  • Sell to senior management (C-level) at prospect accounts.
  • Maintain minimum weekly/daily metrics and ensure quota is met consistently.
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
  • Develop a complete understanding of all our product offerings.
  • Translate product and solutions into positive business outcomes for C-level prospects.
  • Understand changing business and technology issues and needs that our potential clients face.
  • Work with analyst, consultants, and product teams to better understand our value proposition for technology vendors.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of prospecting and selling to C-level executives at technology and service providers.
  • Average experience of two to four years in a similar role.
  • Experience in selling business services to C-level professionals in a highly competitive market would be an advantage.
  • The ability to use social media, email, and phone to prospect and book meetings.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to align client business objectives with Forrester solutions.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • A team player.
  • A high level of business acumen.
  • Interested in technology and its business impact.
  • A fast learner.
