We are seeking a Division Director of Resident Care to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and ongoing support of quality management and educational initiatives throughout assigned communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the implementation of current policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to corporate and external regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and investigate resident complaints, ensuring compliance with resident rights policies and resolving grievances.
  • Conduct compliance surveys at communities, assisting in the development of corrective action plans and troubleshooting resolutions.
  • Participate in State and Federal surveys and compliance investigations.
  • Support communities in identifying trends and developing plans of corrective action.
  • Provide in-service training and orientation to community staff on survey process, risk management, corporate compliance, and performance improvement.
  • Audit level of care assessments for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in review of clinical risk scenarios to mitigate liability and risk.
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations Leader and Director of Health and Wellness to review and interpret state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Maintains knowledge of regulatory compliance in all states of responsibility.
  • SNF DON experience in Texas required.
  • Multi-State experience required.
  • Experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care industries.
  • Ten (10) years' nursing experience.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Five (5) year nursing management experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
