The Alarm & Suppression Projects Foreman is tasked with overseeing the installation of alarm systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, mentoring apprentices in trade skills, and fostering strong professional relationships.


Key Responsibilities:


- Installation of low voltage systems including Fire Alarm, Clean Agent, Access Control, CCTV, and Security, as well as alternative suppression systems like Clean Agent, CO2, and Water Mist.

- Enforce safety regulations and ensure all crew members maintain a culture of safety.

- Educate and mentor apprentices to enhance their skills.

- Communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships with superintendents, project managers, coworkers, and clients.

- Plan work proactively to minimize disruptions and manage costs.

- Perform additional duties as required and exemplify the Company’s Core Values.


Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in the installation of low voltage systems in commercial or industrial settings.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and plans.
- Skilled in operating trade equipment, including low voltage meters and hand tools.
- Capable of making field adjustments with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and complete projects efficiently.
- Familiarity with relevant NFPA Codes.
- Comfortable using computer systems and learning new operating systems.
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to a long-term career and continuous improvement.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime, be on call, and travel as needed.
- Ability to wear PPE and work in various environmental conditions.
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering weights as required.
