Medical Device Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment in our hospitals and external facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, and maintain medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.
- Conduct electrical safety inspections and perform performance testing on medical equipment.
- Operate sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation to inspect and test medical equipment.
- Analyze test data and prepare reports as needed.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of biomedical equipment commonly used in general care areas.
- May be exposed to or responsible for modalities such as life-support and advanced equipment.
- Associate's Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or equivalent education and experience.
- 3 years of experience in repair of biomedical equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
