Hospitality Service Representative
The Post Oak Hotel is in search of a Hospitality Service Representative to provide exceptional service at Texas's only Forbes Five-Star Hotel. We are committed to hiring dedicated and professional staff who create memorable experiences for our guests through personalized and genuine interactions.
The Hospitality Service Representative will serve as the initial point of contact for guests during their stay, overseeing all elements of their accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of The Post Oak and its offerings.
  • Manage assigned cash bank with precision and ensure its security at all times.
  • Utilize the computer system in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, adhering to proper greeting and telephone etiquette as per Forbes and AAA guidelines.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs in alignment with Forbes and AAA standards.
  • Establish accurate accounts for each guest based on their preferences (e.g., shared or separate billing for room/tax/incidentals); maintain detailed guest history files.
  • Record all guest requests, concerns, or issues immediately and inform the appropriate department or personnel for resolution. Follow up within 20 minutes to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle reservation confirmations and cancellations efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Front Office operations or a related field.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division relevant to job duties.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an entire work shift.
