Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Primary Job Description: As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Crescent City Recruitment Group, you will be responsible for assisting in designing and detailing basic to complex machinery and equipment. Your primary focus will be on designing and developing mechanical components and systems, including creating detailed drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems, including creating detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate design options.
  • Develop and test prototypes to ensure that designs meet performance requirements.
  • Work with manufacturing and quality control teams to ensure that products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technical staff on projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in a specific industry or product area.
  • Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Certified SolidWorks Professional).
