Job Title: Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, Hardware, eero

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our eero team. As a key member of our marketing organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy for our hardware portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Narrative and Messaging: Develop a compelling narrative framework for messaging and positioning of eero's hardware product portfolio, individual products, and services.
  2. Deep Product Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of eero's hardware and software capabilities, as well as the technical and strategic considerations for our category.
  3. World-Class Go-To-Market Program: Drive eero's hardware product portfolio strategy, servicing different customer audiences, and create and deploy go-to-market strategies for new products and releases.
  4. Research and Customer Insights: Be the expert on eero's buyers and customers, owning the hardware innovation roadmap for research and customer insights to inform product and marketing strategies.
  5. Competitive Landscape: Gather, analyze, and respond to competitive intelligence, including win/loss analysis, to keep our customer-facing teams confident and educated on how eero is better and why we're winning.
  6. Hardware Portfolio Management: Own pricing strategy, forecasting, and business and financial analyses, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting of key finance, sales, and marketing metrics.
  7. Technical Marketing Lead: Serve as a technical marketing lead throughout the full HW development lifecycle, interfacing with engineering, product management, and program management to drive new product development programs from concept to commercialization.
  8. Hardware Innovation and Roadmap Planning: Support early HW roadmap concepts by gathering business and customer product requirements from cross-functional teams and translating these requirements into technical specifications and architectures.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in an associated discipline.
  2. 10+ years of demonstrable product marketing, Go-To-Market, product management, and/or program management experience with hardware or software programs.
  3. Proven track record of developing and delivering go-to-market plans.
  4. Superb written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent time management skills.
  6. Technical category experience or desire to become technically versed in the networking category.
  7. Passion for experimentation and continuous learning.
  8. Detail-oriented, but not afraid of failing.
  9. Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  10. Deep understanding of research and insight, including how to develop research briefs, analyze, and apply customer insights to inform product strategy, marketing programs, or business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
  2. Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines.
  3. Confident, self-motivated individual with a strong bias for action.
  4. Experience driving new business segment or services launches.
  5. Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization.
  6. Understanding of key business motions like forecasting, planning, P&L management.
  7. Understanding of B2C and B2B GTM motions.
