Position Summary
The Lead Wellness Advisor at our dispensary will play a crucial role in guiding customers—whether recreational users, patients, or caregivers—in selecting the most suitable cannabis products to meet their needs. You will embody the company’s mission of normalization and professionalism in the cannabis space, setting a high standard for customer service, product expertise, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and support Wellness Advisors in customer interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Educate customers on the various cannabis products and their effects on well-being.
- Employ effective sales techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with documentation and identification requirements for customers.
- Oversee the accuracy of orders dispensed to customers, ensuring timely service.
- Manage cash transactions accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Address any discrepancies in cash or product handling and escalate as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive records of dispensary operations, including customer interactions and inventory management.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist in organizing product displays and maintaining a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
- Facilitate the onboarding and training of new Wellness Advisors, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service; experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage effectively with clients.
- Proven ability to learn and apply product knowledge in a consultative manner.
- Understanding of cannabinoids and their interactions with the human body is beneficial.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
