Role Summary: The Product Marketing team is tasked with crafting clear, distinct, and engaging messaging and positioning for AWS and its offerings. This role focuses on communicating AWS's key narratives to inform customers about the possibilities of building, managing, and optimizing their operations on AWS.

Positioning: As the Product Marketing Manager for AWS Cloud Operations, you will spearhead marketing initiatives for cutting-edge monitoring and observability features, including generative AI, designed to enhance operational agility, security, and efficiency for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product marketing efforts for the AWS Monitoring & Observability (AMO) solution within the AWS Cloud Operations suite.
  • Gather customer insights and develop comprehensive messaging, positioning, use cases, and marketing content for AMO.
  • Influence internal stakeholders, including product and engineering teams, to shape product vision and prioritize features.
  • Collaborate with various AWS departments such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, and public relations to drive marketing strategies for the AMO sector.
  • Work closely with the Cloud Operations marketing team to ensure the success of the product portfolio.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns utilizing owned, earned, and paid media channels to enhance customer engagement and understanding of AWS.
  • Experiment with innovative marketing strategies and ideas to refine our approach.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven improvement.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute cross-functional marketing programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing external partnerships for marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively to various organizational levels.
