Your Role
We are in search of a dedicated and meticulous Patient Care Coordinator to become a vital part of our eye care facility. Key responsibilities encompass greeting patients, managing phone communications, and overseeing patient check-in and check-out processes. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent computer skills, typing accuracy, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering positive patient interactions through compassion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls on a multi-line system, addressing inquiries and making outbound calls to patients with professionalism
- Register patients and ensure their records are current and precise
- Confirm personal and insurance details for services and procedures
- Organize appointments and medical procedures
- Reschedule appointments as necessary
- Manage requests for medical records
- Process patient payments
- Conduct daily cash report reconciliations
- Assist with additional tasks as directed by management
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
- Empathetic approach with a focus on patient needs
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and uphold company values
- Proficient computer skills are essential
- Dependable, with a strong work ethic and integrity
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
- Willingness to undergo a background check

Physical and Cognitive Requirements
