We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to join our team at J.R. Simplot Company in Boise, Idaho. This role will provide operational and financial guidance to the Supply Chain management teams, with a focus on improving accounting processes and ensuring compliance with global, corporate, and governmental regulations.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting fundamentals and principles. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related experience and/or training, preferably in Accounting or Finance. A Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university is required, with a CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and systems to ensure operational reports, financial reports, and analytical information are accurate, timely, and informative.
  • Collaborate with Fleet management to develop financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts for the Fleet and prepare cost reports.
  • Examine and review unusual cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly across multiple systems.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
