Position Overview:

As a key contributor, you will lead process development initiatives in new model launches, business planning, and mass production. Your strategic planning, effective communication, and execution skills will be essential in driving continuous improvement and ensuring success for our associates while meeting customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and communicate changes to enhance processes that sustain production quality.
  • Design optimal process layouts, focusing on packaging concepts and part delivery to simplify operations.
  • Establish and uphold operational standards to ensure all associates can safely deliver quality products on time.
  • Enhance Process Engineering knowledge through mentoring and technical training.
  • Support process development to ensure smooth new model launches.
  • Manage projects and processes that align with new model strategies to improve departmental performance.
  • Optimize process efficiency to maximize manpower utilization while considering safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and environmental impacts.
  • Lead department initiatives to reinforce Honda's core values.
  • Analyze process-related data to identify trends and implement effective countermeasures to meet key performance indicators.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external departments to share challenges and best practices.

Candidate Profile:

Required Experience:

  • 3 months of relevant co-op or internship experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • 4 years of relevant experience with an associate's degree.
  • 6 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and industrial engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in MOST, AutoCAD, Catia, and Delmia.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Work environment includes office and production settings with occasional travel.
